Nokair Is It Reliable

Featured Replies

This is my experience wth Nokair flying from Hat Yai on the 25th of Jan, 07 that departed at 15:20 bound for Suvarnabhumi and was expected to land at 17:00 hours.

As we came to close to the airport the pilot announced that the traffic controller informed him that there was congestion and the pilot landed in Chonubri. We waited there for close to one hour before we resumed our flight.

While we were grounded i informed the stewart of Nokair that i had a connecting flight to udon thani at 18:30 and asked her to contact her ground staff at Suvamabuhmi to inform Thai airways of the delay in arrival.

Nok air landed at Suvarnabhumi air port and i got into the arrival terminal at 18:30. The ground staff told me that they were not informed by their flight crew and started to give me the run around.

i went to thai airways and was told the plane has left and the next flight was at 06:00 hours next day. i was stranded at this aiport and would you blieve it , could not even get a seat on the morning flight even on business class. I was told that i could get a seat on the Noon flight.

i called my wife in Laos and informed her that i was going to spend the night in Bangkok and leave for Mochit and take the early bus to Nong Khai and cross the friend ship bridge into Laos.

My question is how would Nok air have responded had i been say, an European.

Just want to share my experience wth you that flying budget airlines have advantages and disavantages too.
