There must be a lot of stress and tension among those involved with the search effort.

Too bad the reporter  vented his feeling out on the waitress.

Just another nutter

The so-called "reporter" deserves to be reported.

Disgusting behaviour and being drunk is no excuse...it just shows what type of person he is....shameful.

One can understand why the media gets censored in some countries, as sometimes they just think no end of themselves.

Don't think much of his boss, either. Weak as piss - should have dragged the POS with him and fired him in front of the girl.

Ahem. The "reporter" wasn't involved in the Rescue effort. He was just doing his job. I hope the girl got more than an apology.

What a crock. Boss comes down to "rescue" his "reporters?". Offers an apology and what of the culprits. Oh he was drinking and "the waitress was giving them trouble"? as in "refusing to server those obviously drunk and disordely.."

The reporter wasn't involved in the search effort. Only stress was trying to find ways around the cordons to try and get some pics or story before others did.

He got pissed and hit a waitress. Another entitled prat who was probably  lucky not to get a good kicking from outraged locals, His boss had to travel up and "smooth" it all over.

What has his job got to do with this? It's completely irrelevant. Makers a headline I suppose.

You've completely missed the point.

The press can't say who he is (due to his status and the subsequent negative consequences, defamation, calls to the editor, loss of job, etc.) so they hint at it by narrowing the field. Sometimes they'll give his initials.

Any report of how the waitress annoyed / upset the drunk reporter?

She might have made the mistake to expressed a sort of understanding for the "Press's Drone Ban"....:whistling:

Nothing new.

Equallity and rights seem to be taboo in most parts of Asia.

Subsevience is prevalent and obvious, especially on TV

High-so, Mercs and BM's. Sad

Oh the trials and tribulations its almost enough to make you think of wrapping your hand in

Does it matter?

Surely the point is that the waitress was assaulted, nothing can excuse that, charges of assault should be automatically started.

Oh, was it so! Yeah, I guess that´s a good reason. Ok then, off you go.

Appologize???? He hit somebody. He should be charged for it!

In Thailand some people get pardons after doing a whole lot worse to a whole lot of the population. Some even write 'cannot prosecute' in the nation's constitution and get away with it.

Get real.
