Your Favorite Vegan Restaurants (or New Discoveries) in Chiang Mai

Featured Replies

With so many Vegan restaurants in town and so many new ones that seem to pop up almost weekly, I thought this would be a useful thread.  Especially helpful would be your impressions of new restaurants you’ve discovered.  Share your thoughts not only on quality of food and breadth of menu but value.  Include google map link as well.

To start the ball rolling I’m including a link to a food blogger who’s reviewed dozens of vegan restaurants in town and her list contains many of my favorites, which happen to include Pun Pun, Amrita Garden, Free Bird, Salad Concept, Imm Aim, Vegetarian Society, and J-Station (not really vegan but I love it anyway).  And of course, there’s always the food court at Maya.

Here’s the link to the bloggers review site - https://mostlyamelie.com/vegan-chiang-mai/

Note:  I am not affiliated with this blog, or stand to gain anything by listing this blog or any of the above restaurants.

A gal took me to one on Husawaidee  Road across from the 7-11.  I think it is lunchtime only they had four or five dishes plus tofu/tempeh skewered on sticks.

(Beware of "Hipsters" with going on and on in loud voices about how much they know about Yoga teaching colleges in India, Reiki, and every form of discredited voodoo, it really was tedious). The food is good and it is CHEAP, free icewater. I had a two item plate almost could not finish.
