SURIN, 23rd July 2018 (NNT) – The National Legislative Assembly (NLA) has held its latest meet-the-people and Thai Niyom Yang Yuen forum in Surin province.

A committee of NLA members traveled to Surin province on July 22 to meet with citizens from Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Surin, Si Sa Ket and Mahasarakam led by Wallop Tangkananurak, and were joined by NLA members Gen Theerawat Boonyapradap, Gen Arun Somthon and Monthien Boontan.

The forum was planned to support progress in the Thai Niyom Yang Yuen project, involving local officials such as Surin Deputy Governor Pornpoj Bundityanurak, Surin Provincial Chief Niwat Noipang, Muang Surin District Chief Krisanu Luangpibulkij and Ta Thoom District Chief Somchai Amphankan.

The NLA panel visited a career support center for the unemployed and unfortunate, a public exercise space renovation project, the Wat Baan Yang Krajub Hall repair project, concrete road repairs in Prakala sub-district and the “Bring Elephants Home” project in Nong Rua sub-district.

The group proceeded to Buriram the day after the forum and inspection of facilities.
