Dental implant-bone graft...check prices..?

Hi....

thanks for the input before about dental implants.

The  new question is ‘what’s a standard price for bone grafting or bone augmentation’ 

I have been quoted  30,000 -45,000 for the bone grafting component.

This is for the implants for two missing teeth side by side...

ie...it’s a graft for 2 dental implants.

Am I being ripped off or is that about right..?

More important question - where are you thinking of getting it done and by whom.

Bone grafts for dental implants can go very very wrong in the wrong/inexperienced hands.

Suggest you talk to Nancy - on the medical Forum - she used to live in Chiang Mai.

Far more important that you choose a good Specialist Dentist who is experienced (and is in a good Clinic).

I had a bone graft done for an implant in Pattaya. I think the bone graft cost was 8,000B per vial of whatever they graft it with. The dentist said it would need one or two vials and in the end it needed just one.

I agree with posts 2 and 4.  The correct question would be "What is a good price for a dental bone graft done safely and correctly?" 

 

I'm sure if you look will find people claiming to be dentists who will attempt to do the job cheaply.
