600 for a case of Tigers.......

Featured Replies

12 large, at Tesco.  Less than Leo.  more than 10% less than buying one or two pack Leos at 711.  I think it is quite a bit better.   Isn't it time to make number three more relevant?  Vote with your wallet.  I have seen several bars in the high priced areas doing decent trade with fairly priced Tiger draft...it just cant be that bad.  Consider it for home use.  And no this isnt about how bad Thai beers suck, it is about what is sustainable and the best choice for beer drinkers.

Totally agree, I think. Tiger is definitely the way to go for affordable and decent beer in Thailand.

How many are left in the case? ?

they are resting in my fridge...bought two and one Heiny..1999..and 49 thb for a taxi meter 2.9 km home.

I drink Tiger in Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. It's very popular in VN where I live, with a good 60-70% of patrons in any bar gripping a Tiger, even over Saigon and 333 brands. Tiger draft is pretty decent too and is often one of the featured happy hour drinks.

I believe it is very popular in Sing and Malaysia, too, and Cambodia is brewing it...where does Viet Tiger come from?

Pretty sure it's brewed in Vietnam by Heineken Asia Pacific Breweries but can't nail that down on Google. Weird.

Why don't you compare one can at Tesco with one can of leo at 711 ? Why make the difference bigger but based on nothing. Its normal that larger amounts are cheaper a fair comparison is one to one.
