I have imported a small package, about 300gms, it's at the customs, any idea how long it could take before I get notice to go there to pay the fees and collect it? It's a battery charger for an electric wheel chair and it is going to cost about 100 percent of the price with the customs duty and about 100 other fees and charges. (FOB price)

If the value is below 20.000 thb it should go fast but you should be able to see the progress from the tracking nr of the shipper. How do you know about 100% import duty and other charges?

Below 20K. Tracked it to customs at airport,Phuket. "Should go fast " has different meaning in LOS than Oz. do you have any experience of importing something? I googled import duties . Being for elec wheelchair, not 100 percent sure if duty payable or not.

Since when do you see it being at customs?

Was it sent by registered mail or with a courier service?

I import very regularly spare parts for my car from USA customs normally 2-3 days and duty to be paid at post office. For spare parts it is 30%. Over 20k is longer procedure many questions etc..
