I’m a trans woman from Belgium. Student, 22 years old, can’t afford to see dr Suporn, Preecha or any of the other big names that offer sex change operations for transsexuals.

I have been close to 3 years on hormones and can’t afford to have the procedure done in my own country and I can’t take the long waiting lists.

During my long search for surgeons in Asia with experience on transsexual people, I came across dr Thep at Pratunam Polyclinic. He is considered a bit controversial by media across the world but I saw a few pictures of his work and he creates what appears to be a vagina and according to a person who had surgery with him, she can also experience sensation in her neovagina.

My question to you people is : Is dr Thep a decent choice to have your surgery done by?

He seems to be an honest person and affords procedures at low rates.

He even recommended me a cheap hotel behind his clinic so that I won’t have to cross the street after my surgery ( Tango Hotel instead of Indra Regent which was my first choice ).

The neovaginas he produces, do not look world class but look quite ok for such a low price.

I will be studying for 4 more years before I can see a top notch doctor and my gender dysphoria is so bad that I want to have my procedure done sooner.

That’s why I’m opting for the less expensive dr Thep.

Do you know anyone who had surgery with him? Is she happy with her neovagina?

Can someone shed some more light on dr Thep from their personal experiences?

Is he considerably less talented than say dr Preecha in his work on transsexual MtFs?

I’m attracted to men and want a decent vagina.

Thanks,

Elissa.

You should not have this done by other than a board certified plastic surgeon

You should also not have surgery done under general anesthesia in a clinic in Thailand, only a hospital. And believe me, you do not want to undergo this without general anesthesia.
