How do people deal with Chiang Mai immigration if they move into a home on which they have a long term contract?

Does the owner (usually a wife or girlfriend) have to provide a copy of the lease contract, or just report the move-in?

Initial report requires the housemaster to provide a copy of the contract and completed TM30 within 24 hours of tenant/ leaseholder taking up residence.

Subsequent reports only need to made on return to residence from abroad requiring only passport with original receipt of notification which would be endorsed.
