Bluetooth speaker won't pair with my tablet.

Featured Replies

I bought a Zealot S9 bluetooth speaker to use with my tablet for better sound quality and it worked fine for about a month, then it stopped connecting. I returned it to the seller and they checked it and couldn't find anything wrong with it. I got it back today and it still won't connect. The speaker will connect with my desktop though. The tablet connects to another model speaker, bluetooth headphones and a Samsung Soundbar without any problems. So where is the fault, in the speaker or the tablet, and anything I can try to get them connected?

Have you right clicked on speaker symbol in you taskbar and then clicked on playback devices? That's how I got my Bluetooth device to work.

The speaker will connect to my desktop, but it won't connect to my tablet or my partner's Asus tablet. My tablet has no problems connecting to other devices like a different speaker, headphones and a Samsung Soundbar. Do you mean the two speaker symbols, the + and -? That makes no difference.

Did you check the Bluetooth versions on all the equipment?

Once I came across a similar issue where an old Samsung Tablet refused to pair with a new Bluetooth speaker.

The speaker was new, the tablet is only a few months old, it won't connect although 3 other devices connect without any problems. It won't connect to my partners Asus Zenpad either. Logic would say that there is a fault in the speaker. I might add that the speaker connected and performed well for about 3 weeks before it refused to connect.
