Traffic incident

Featured Replies

I came across yet another dead body this morning at the traffic lights on Sukhumvit at Sawang Fa intersection. I could do without it frankly. Looked like a motorcyclist crushed underneath a tour bus.

Which junction is "Sawang Fa"     ?

Sawang  means heaven ( I think ? )  so hopefully thats where the deceased went  R.I.P

Sawang Fa is one of the main sois linking Na Kleua to Sukhumvit. The intersection is the middle of the 3 sets of lights in close succession beyond Bangkok Pattaya Hospital.

I usually drive around 15,000 to 20,000 kms a year in Thailand. I think that pretty much guarantees an annual encounter.

RIP, but the way they drive their motorbikes here it won't be the last death sadly.

The bigger the crowd gathered the more likely there is of it being a fatal accident - sad

Lost count of how many bodies I have seen laid in the road.................... ?

Very few even make the news.

I've seen several people get hit by cars or motorbikes over the years. Every SINGLE time people just get their phone out to take photos, nobody even tries of offer any kind of first aid, but I guess that's the times we live in now. A picture on your Facebook is more important than someone dying in the road.
