How is this archived old blog going to help members on here who are seeking guidance on how to address the current visa application process? 

A lot has changed since 2015!  Hopefully for the better, although it would be interesting to know if the visa processing times are improving since the move to India in June.

Visa processing times are one thing, but it would appear that visa applicants are required to twiddle their thumbs for hours on end in the VFS offices these days before they can submit their applications:-

 We do not know if that experience was the norm, or if VFS have been having problems which led to the long delays on that day and other recent days.

 

It would be nice to hear from someone who went more recently, and doesn't have an axe to grind, so we can see what the current situation is.
