Are there any shops in CM that have electric bicycles for sale? I intend to use it for touring, so needs to be decent.

Alternatively I can bring my own, but not the battery, any suggestions as to where I could get a battery sent to from China that will hold it for me till I pick it up?

Cheers, I had no problems last time I did some cycling there, I find the road users more aware of cyclists than they are in aus.

 

Chaitawat Bike Shop has electric bicycles as well as add-on kits to convert standard mountain bikes to electric-driven.  It's one of the best and oldest bike shops in Chiang Mai.  The proprietor, Chai, speaks English quite well.
