I have;nt seen any Thais feeling the meat but the lack of protection against sneezing and coughing is appalling and against the laws in my country. Occasionally I get stomach upsets after eating some of this food and I always have it cooked.

Your upset stomach has nothing to do with lack of protection against sneezing/coughing. Much more likely not cooked well or simply meat that is not good anymore.

Anyway, you must be buying this dirty self service meat for your dogs, right ?

Who not totally insane would buy meat displayed this way for his own consumption ?

Besides buying meat early on, if there's a plastic wrapped on tray version, I go for that.
