Copies of both passport photo pages. Copies of every page in your old passport that a Thai visa or stamps on it.

A letter from your embassy requesting the stamp transfer.

If your OA visa is no longer valid they will do a stamp with spaces for info about it and your old passport. If it was still valid you could still use it for entry by showing it in your old passport on entry.

And this form completed. Transfer Stamps To A New Passport

Tried downloading your Transfer stamps pdf file but it will not download. Where else can I get it from as it seems to have been removed from Immigration web site.

I just download the file and opened it. Try this one I just uploaded. transferstamp.pdf

It is here on the immgration website in MS document format. https://www.immigration.go.th/download/1486548719379.doc

By the way do Immigration require a fee?

There is no official fee. But some offices do ask for a small service charge for doing it.

When I did my stamps transfers in March at Jomtien it was a 2 step process.

Retirement visa section (counter 9?) for transfer of retirement extension, then to the re-entry permit counter for the transfer of that.

Done same day.

When doing my daughter's transfers a couple of weeks ago, went to counter 6 for her non-O extension transfer and they said come back next day. Next day both the extension and re-entry stamps were in the passport.

No charge on either occasion.

Since you had two steps, did you need two letters from your embassy?

No, just the one for the extension transfer.

Letter not needed for the re-entry stamp transfer

By the way do Immigration require a fee?  I believe it to be free, but I want to be certain before I stand my ground if they try to charge me ????

I just did it at Khon Kaen.

My friend was charged 300 baht, another 500 baht as he didn't have the embassy letter. I usually refuse to pay anything but the women actually asked me how much I thought the service was worth!!

I said 200 baht if you give me another 90 day thing, and she agreed.

Go after 3 as it's quiet.

Went to Immigration at Khon Kaen last week and had no problem transferring stamps from old to new passport.  No fee, but a 200 baht "Admin" fee without receipt. ????  Took 5 minutes.

However, I had been wrongly informed by a previous IO that when my stamps are transferred my extension of stay would then be updated to my usual Annual extension date of April 8 2019. Previously, they could only give me up until Oct 13 2018 as that was my old passport expiry date.

This was false information!!!

So i know have to make a second extension application in 6 months!  I just hope that the British Embassy income letter arrives before my expiry date.  Had I known this beforehand, I would have not waited until my 90 day report, as I have had my new passport since mid August!

You live and learn ????
