Send off an email to the manufacturer, asking if they have distributor,

or agent here that could do repairs, one thing for sure you need someone

who really knows, not just think they know how to service and fix it,as Gas

is potentially much more dangerous than an electric water heater.good luck.

Thanks.  A blinding glimpse of the obvious now I read it!  Why did I not think of doing that.  Will send an E-mail asap.

BTW does anyone know what the cost/implications of replacing with an electric version?

I recently bought one to provide hot water to the kitchen sink. < 6k baht + a few hundred baht to get it fitted.

Go to HomePro,they have several sizes of electric water heaters,

including some large ones, the gas one you have looks knackered,

sometimes you just have to get a new one, trying to repair it could

prove dangerous, leaking gas! ,and finding a competent gas fitter

will be very difficult.

Fitting an electric heater should be easy, just make sure the correct

wire is used and Earthed, maybe they could use the same pipes to

connect to.

Hope you don't find this too obvious ,just trying to help.
