Khaotalo Beer Garden

Featured Replies

I was walking past the German Beer Garden in Soi Khaotalo, this morning, and it seems that the site is being levelled.

Rather a shame if the business is finished as it was a good place to get a decent sausage and a glass of good German beer.  It wasn't that long ago that the place was refurbished and a covered area built.  Never seemed to have quite the same atmosphere though as when it was just trestle tables under umbrellas.  They seemed to seriously reduce the scope of the menu at the same time - presumably a business decision that may have backfired.

So, one less decent eatery on Khaotalo now - and we didn't have too many to start with!

Do you mean "The Breeze" formerly "Bavaria Beergarden"?

Yes, closed since a couple of months.

It was a topic in some German forum but I was not interested to follow. Just 10 days ago I passed by there on a Pattaya visit.

You can buy/rent.

Want the number :whistling:

Yes, that's the one.

I didn't realise that it had been closed for a while.  Nothing left to buy, by the look of it.  I suppose that someone will rent the land for some purpose - or just leave it empty, as is so often the case.  Or maybe we'll get some more shop-houses - always a need for those, it seems!

The former host had all his equipment/stuff in shipping containers and has moved on.

So yes not much inventory or the like.

On August 24 I got an email that the hall/land (one rai) is on sale. Business closed.

It is probably on sale since August 2 seems WITH the container inventory.

A million Baht and 20000/month and it's yours.

(I haven't followed further development)
