Hello friends,

I will be coming to live in Thailand next month on a retirement visa and as I started using Trimix lately , I wonder how can someone get that in Thailand. As this is a matter of great importance to me I would appreciate any info on the subject. It was mentioned in a post  2 years ago by the member SailingHome  that you can get it from a Thai compounding farmacy. Is this still possible in 2018 ?

Is it good enough after shipment  ? as my doctor told me this should be refrigerated all the time. Is Caverject or any other brand of injectable alprostadil available ? Any info on prices ?

Caverject is off market in Thailand.

 

There is another brand of the same drug called Prostin VR that may or may not still be on market, I am not sure.

 

Trimix has bever been available here. It is possibel some hospitals pharmacies are compounding an equivalent.

 

the best thing to do is see a doctor specializing in ED to find out what your options are. Some suggested docs specializing in this:

Both Bumrungrad and Bangkok Hospital are very large institutions and if any hospital is compounding this they likely would.

Did anyone in this thread find a thai source for injectable tri-mix. It is all I have found that works for me. Or a shipment source for the dry mix? 

Not available here as far as I know but check with an ED specialist at a hospital, possible some of the hospitals bring it in

Until about 2 years ago not available at all in Thailand.

Zero chance of trimix in Thailand, unlikely to change soon. I've seen the alprostadil "lolly-sticks" for sale in Bangkok, but would steer well-clear, I've bought meds from pharmacies all over Bangkok and have occasionally gotten garbage. I only buy from a couple of reliable places now.

I have been getting Viridal Duo mailed in every month for the last three years from an online Pharmacy with no problems, until today,  when customs decided they wanted a look. They asked me what was inside and I said "medicine", they then made me go to there pathetic equivalent of the FDA and get a license to import. I had a valid prescription and the moron looked it up on the internet see's the word "injectable"  and then says "sorry I cant help you, a pill will do the same thing" so I drive back to customs and the  whole place is shut down for lunch <deleted>. So tomorrow I will go back and tell them to return to sender and get a refund from the pharmacy and then I will order again and chances are very high it will come in as normal again. For the life of me I do not understand how Thailand is not considered part of the Third World.

Has anyone had any experience bringing Trimix trough Thai customs via the airport?

iam visiting my girlfriend for the first time and nervous about my Trimix getting confiscated by customs here in Thailand.

Arriving from the USA 

Have a prescription with you to show and should be fine.
