True. Couples have been having sex in my local supermarkets for years. So frequent now that I don`t even give them a second glance.

Where is your supermarket? Perhaps I could find a new career in porn. After all, it's legal in the USA, even if prostitution isn't.

Time to get army, navy and airforce involved.

Airports and borders should be closed.

Call NSA for help with IP and location tracking.

Call Zuckerberg for detailed logs.

Such terrible crime must no go unpunished.

What a hypocritical people they are, unbelievable

This is a new so-called culture among young people to gain social media fame. Rarely do these people ever receive severe punishments for these acts, the police will just give them a lecture, then a wai, a 500 baht fine and an apology for disrespecting the Thai people.

The more outrageous, the more media attention they will receive which is what this is all about. If my memory serves me, last year a Thai couple went live on facebook having sex on a bridge and then the couple having sex in the back of a songthaew in full view on a public road. Also the young couple having sex by the counter in a Burger King in America.

This is a sad sign of the times, and until the courts start enforcing prison time with large fines, this won`t be the first of such incidents and certainly won`t be the last.

"this won`t be the first of such incidents and certainly won`t be the last"

You've already mentioned 2 specific incidents so how can you say "this won't be the first"?

Nice to know that serious crime in the country is so low, that the police can dedicate so much time to this.

Also find it quite amusing that they warn the press to tell the public not to share it around, but in asking the press for help, they are actually sharing it themselves.

Don’t believe everything you read.

Plus its illegal not funny it’s a place where kids run around

you try doing that in Saudi and other countries not funnybat all its disgusting

Between the time that this 'heinous' crime happened and the time they apprehend the 'heinous' criminals, I wonder how many people will be killed and injured on Thai roads.

Just saying - what's more 'heinous'?  A couple screwing in public or aggressive drivers causing daily carnage on the roads?  It's a rhetorical question, I already know the answer.

Want to ask you something. How you answer will determine whether you are a parent or not.

You maybe out with your wife and young children in a public place, could be a park, in a street, at a restaurant or even in a supermarket and suddenly you come across a couple having sex in front of your family, especially your children. Do you think the couple should be arrested? Or would you say; never mind there are worse things happening to other people?

Rubbish.

If legal to take a family to specially allocated nude beaches it`s still illegal for adult couples to be performing sex acts in the communal areas of those beaches and also as a parent I can still decide to take my kids to such places at my discretion. Personally I would not take my kids to such places nor would I want to go myself, it`s not my scene.

Are you seriously condoning such behaviour in a supermarket as being acceptable or only a trivial offence?

No.  I was asking you if you thought it should be legal to take children to a nude beach where that was not against the law?

I had a look a some news sites. There are censored shots of the girl walking around in the supermarket holding up her skirt to her navel exposing herself and another shot of the girl sitting on a stool in the supermarket, no underwear legs wide open.

Pretty bad behaviour I think, even for Thailand and probably kids able to see. What surprises me is why the couple were not detained by the store`s security and the police called? I`m sure this would have been the case if caught shoplifting.

It just goes to show. Shop lifting takes precedence over skirt lifting.

Looks like she likes the Big C,

I thought the problem was you’re not allowed to use your own Small C while in a Big C?

All joking aside, despite the multitudes of prostitutes, Johns and sex shows in Thailand, I think this video is beyond the pale and genuinely offensive to Thai society. It’s just not done. Posting a video of the act suggests to the world that it is done and it’s ok in Thailand.

It certainly would not be done in America, and we lead the world in pushing the sexual envelope.

<deleted>, what’s the big deal here.  Police time and effort would be better served out on the road reducing the crashes and fatality rate.  Don’t they know thailand has the highest road fatality rate in the world.

They don't care.

The police monitoring traffic are different than the police who will be tracking what is a computer crime. If they didn't go after these guys the traffic kill rate will not change
