After reporting lost passport to the police & getting their paperwork what else do I need to show the British embassy ie personal papers

Just something to prove who you are, driving licence, copy of old passpt.

Might be tricky to get a copy of the old passport if it is lost..????

 

He will also need evidence of address and photos.

 

Nothing to do with the British Emassy, application needs to be made at VfS Global. You would only use the embassy if there was a need for an emergency travel document.

yes of course. I lost mine in Rome....British Embassy next morning, emergency document within an hour.....new passport from Liverpool in ONE DAY.

In thailand always best to have copy of everything. ????

I do have the previous passport & photos of my thai setv, entrance stamp &departure card so there shouldn't be a problem with the thai authorities, but will I get a new passport within 2 weeks
