Growing vegetables

Featured Replies

We've got some spare land here in Isaan and I thought I might try and grow my own onions, carrots, (proper) potatoes and spring onions. The soil looks very strange compared to that in the UK. Has anyone bothered to try this? Any advice?

I have try carrots and potato it won't work because it is to wet or to hot and the soil is not good enough.Buy them at the local talat

Thanks, I think I'll just forget it then, I wanted to grow some proper farang vegetables!

Why not try a small aquaponics set up, there's a thread in the farming section.
