Sansai Post Office closed?

Featured Replies

I am told the Sansai post office has closed and possibly the next-nearest post office on the outskirts of Maejo, the idea being to consolidate these into a new post office further north.  Is this correct?  If so, can anyone help with the new location?  Thanks.

Apologies, misunderstanding - Sansai PO is still open and the info I quoted was in respect of a future or upcoming change.  Can Mods delete the thread to save wasted time for others?  Thks.

No need to delete anything.

Still worth knowing that it is open.

As a non local I hesitated to answer that on Google streetview from June this year it looks lively and somewhat renovated or new?

Don't know if this is related, but wife went to the MaeJo post office last week. It had closed, and moved to a new post office just east of MaeJo on road 1367. She said it is a large post office with plenty of parking.  Here are the google map coordinates. I hope the link works properly, never tried it before.  https://www.google.com/maps/@18.8868577,99.0311159,17z

The link works fine, Fred.  It checks out with what we have since found out ourselves, as per the attachment.  If and when the existing Sansai PO closes we now know where to go.  Thanks.
