Hi Liveforever,

 

I'm in a similar situation, just waiting for the clock to reach the requisite number of days resident in UK for the past three years.

 

There's a major new system for applying online.  Details in below link.  Not sure of how this will affect future processing times, but if you google immigration boards citizenship, you'll find another forum with plenty of anecdotes on processing times.  Most seem to get approved within one month to six weeks.
