No offence but I don't think this post will gain legs.

Why not try another angle?

Well, it's already gained one extra leg!

Maybe you are right, doesn't really appeal to the curmudgeons on TV.

Dont want to join The chain gang ????

Maybe a little more effort, a few hundred more key strokes (not too many though) under the title to tell more what you have in mind would get the TVF members motivated to partake.

With a little response, there'll definitely be some of those unhappy campers who love to squabble and argue, even insult ("and add a smile or 3 here amongs't the squabbles").

Have fun. I'll keep an eye.

You know it!

I believe the blood on your saddle vignette is about Jim McGuinn

Something about the Chestnut Mare? I thought that album was largely about his wife Sara.

Anyhow, I'm probably going somewher the OP never intended.

Positively 4th Street is about the folk scene young Mr Zimmerman burst onto in NYC's Greenwich Village.  My guess is the bitterness of the song had to do with him being outcast for going electric.

Another song about that same scene, and just as cutting is by Joni Mitchell (!), called The Boho Dance.  Betcha didn't think she had fangs back then -- I know I didn't.

1970s California: going home with a girl involved having to listen to her Joni Mitchell records.
