A Chaiyaphum man surrendered to police after allegedly hacking his wife to death in front of their young son after the couple got drunk and quarrelled, police said.

Sunan Khonchaiyaphum, 40, was arrested at his house in Ban Nong Khu village in Tambon Kudtum in Chaiyaphum's Muang dsitrict at 7pm.

Sangwal Khampawang, 48, was found dead beside the front door. Her neck had been brutally slashed and her head almost chopped off. A long-bladed kitchen knife was found nearby.

Their 10-year-old son told police that his parents often drank and then quarrelled.

Jeez..................Buddhism seems not to work for too many Thai people.

And I thought that Islam and Christianity was bad.

RIP to the poor wowan, and shame on the commenters who have become so callous.

Woul any of you like to be in the sons shoes?
