Hi,can any one tell me if it is a right of a uk national to obtain uk passport for a child born in Thailand?She is 4 years old,and I was married to the Thai mother before the birth.I phoned the uk embassy to enquire and was told I would have to be interviewed.The embassy website suggests you can lose your rights as a uk national if you have not kept "close links"with the uk ! any advice would be of great assistance.
