Nestled on the top floor of the brand new Novotel ibis Styles Bangkok Sukhumvit 4 hotel, is RedSquare Rooftop Bar. Located in the always-happening Nana area, this Vodka-focused bar boosts some of the best views of Bangkok city’s skyline and is a new upcoming “hot destination”.

 

 

Located on the 25th floor of the hotel, this casual rooftop bar exudes a chic vibe the moment you enter its space. The RedSquare Rooftop Bar is located next to the swimming pool of Novotel ibis Styles Bangkok Sukhumvit 4, adding a vacation state-of-mind feeling to the bar’s overall atmosphere. One of the main highlights here is the incredible 270 degrees view. Featuring views of the East, North and West of Bangkok, this picturesque scene is ever changing during different timings of the day.

 

 

 

RedSquare bar claims to be the first and best Vodka bar in all of Bangkok. Here you can find a variety of some of the best vodkas from over 40 different labels located all around the world. Some crowd favourites, which can be hard to find in Bangkok, include SKYY from the United States, FINLANDIA from Finland, SASH & FITZ from Germany, TOVARITCH and RUSSIAN STANDARD from Russia. RedSquare also offers a variety of mixers that compliment their extraordinary collection of vodkas.

 

 

Aside from serving Vodka the traditional way, RedSquare has a variety of vodka cocktails that exclusively feature vodkas from South America and Africa. While Vodkas from other regions of the world can be served pure, guests can only have a taste of the vodkas from South America and Africa through this unique range of vodka cocktails curated by RedSquare’s head mixologist, Jame.

 

While it may seem peculiar that South America and Africa vodkas have such exclusivity, we trusted the expertise of RedSquare and their creative choices, and we were impressed. Most of these vodka cocktails are spin-offs of crowd favourite cocktails, and we think that there is undoubtedly something for everyone in this unique line-up.

Some of the vodka cocktails that we tried were: PINA COLADA vodka cocktail (sure to thrill coconut lovers), CUBA LIBRE vodka cocktail (the RedSquare version is stronger than the classic one that people love), NIGERIAN CHAPMAN vodka cocktail (an aromatic and sweet cocktail, something that we feel ladies will enjoy).

If the Vodka cocktails are not for you, RedSquare also serves up a variety of other drinks like Whiskey, Beer, Spirits, Sodas and Juices.

 

 

We always need a little snack while sipping away on our favourite drink, so finger foods are a must in our opinion. The finger food at RedSquare is crafted by the Executive Chef of Novotel ibis Styles Bangkok Sukhumvit 4 hotel, Chef Tony. Most of the finger foods are light snacks, appetizers, and sharing platters. Some of the recommended dishes are: AUSTRALIAN BEEF TENDERLOIN & RED WINE SAUCE - served fries and tomato in skewer form, it features prime meat tenderized with red wine, CHAR-GRILLED TIGER PRAWN – skewered with spicy chorizo and served with Romesco sauce.

For something more filling, try the SPICED PRAWN BURGER-  bite-sized burgers featuring prawns mixed in spicy cocktail sauce, or ATLANTIC SMOKED SALMON ON POLAR BREAD – looking like a mini pizza, it features smoked salmon on polar bread and a side of sour cream. There is also the COLD CUT SELECTION or the MIXED CHEESE BOARD – both perfect as a wine-pairing snack.

 

 

If you’re craving some sweets, RedSquare has you covered as well. While we were there, we sampled DARK CHOCOLATE TART AND MATCHA TEA MOUSSE - a crispy chocolate tart, topped with fragrant matcha tea mousse. Not too sweet, while fully highlighting the Matcha flavour. There was also CREAMED MOJITO – inspired from the classic Mojito cocktail; it is a refreshing dessert featuring sweet and sour cream sitting atop a light layer of crumble and sweet pear. Both of the desserts are definite must-try in our opinion.

 

 

RedSquare Rooftop Bar is a new up and coming location to fulfil all your night party needs without breaking the bank. Imagine sipping vodka cocktails while overlooking the perfect city view with your friends. What could be better right? With its pretty various finger food and dessert menu and the variety of unique vodkas that you can find here, we say this place is worth a visit.
 

RedSquare is opened from 4 pm till 1 am daily, and Happy Hour buy-1-get-1 happens every day from 6 – 7 pm. (From December 2018. happy Hour will extend to be daily from 6 - 8 pm.)
