3 Years Local Manufacturer Warranty on Samsung TVs

Recommended Posts

hi all,

Just about to order a 65" Samsung from Lazada, noticed some are offering 3 Years Local Manufacturer Warranty.

Anyone bought a Samsung TV with this offer, is it a free or optional etc etc Warranty...

Have emailed a couple of advertisers, just thought I'd seek some confirmation here..

(Especially as my current Samsung packed up just after 3 years ( Speakers after 1 year, Wifi after 2 and Power supply after 3)

Although all my other Samsung's have been fine !)

Regards,

Cliffy.

I think the 3-year warranty is included, at no additional charge, but only on some specific Samsung TV models, and maybe from some specific suppliers (as part of a SPIFF, promotion, incentive).

Most Samsung TVs have a standard 1-year warranty.

In the last 3 years, Samsung has had huge power supply problems, bang and it's gone.

I had one just over 2 years old (4k UHD 55" 2016 model), blown the power supply twice, probably not fixable.

There's a class action against Samsung in Oz at this moment about the problem.

I won't be buying another one. Maybe nobody is daft enough to buy one now without a 3-year warranty.

(Looks at Lazada adverts, notices they now say 3 year manufacturer warranty)

All my other older Samsung stuff is great, but their current big TVs are garbage.
