Gerd Schuessler Posted November 29, 2018 Posted November 29, 2018 I am retired german and have my bank account with a Low cost broker since 15 years in the USA. Although I have been very satisfied with their services I think it is time to make a change and I am looking for an alternative in South East Asia which should be as comfortable and at low cost as my low cost broker in the USA. Anyone out there who could suggest an alternative? 1
Oxx Posted November 30, 2018 Posted November 30, 2018 AFAIK there's no such thing as low cost broker in the region. And if you're investing in US stocks you'll find that the brokers here such as Saxo Singapore don't implement the 15% withholding tax on dividends, but withhold at 30%. Best to stick with what you've got. 1
