Location of OBD port on a 2007 Suzuki Carry?

Featured Replies

I've bought a much used Suzuki Carry drop-side truck to use hauling materials and furniture for our home. It is a bit of a rattle-trap but very clean, previous owner had a box top on it and resprayed it except for the tailgate. I being a tight wad bought some lacquer of the approximate colour from TOA and resprayed the inside of the back, the box having been removed and the registration book reflecting the fact. So it looks clean and shiny BUT the engine management light is on.

The truck runs on petrol/LPG, is extraordinarily cheap to run and I'm told that the reason the light is on is because of the LPG. But I want to see for myself, and having the software and an OBD2 scanner it would be a simple matter to identify problems or simply turn the light off if it is a hold-over.

The problem is that I have no idea where to look for the OBD port and google has not proven to be my friend in this. Nor come to that has the quite comprehensive Owners Manual which happily omits that bit.

Can anyone help please? Where is the OBD port located? Thanks guys!

Industry standard is under the dash below the steering wheel

Thanks guys, I'm amazed that the vehicle doesn't have an OBD2 port when far old cars have had that diagnostic system for many years before.

Looks like it's either count flashes, or more simply clear the fault so if it reappears I'll know it's genuine. Shame as I have the OBD scanner and software for all modern vehicles, this is the first that I cannot scan!
