That was a SLAP in the FACE????but full credit to Burnley, who fully deserved their away point, and we lost 2 valuable Home points????????????largely due to poor finishing in front of goal, which  IMO has been our achilles heel, this season????????

Yeah, not our day on Saturday with loads of chances to put the game to bed. Their goal was like a slow motion affair. It seemed the ball was an eternity in the air before it was prodded over the line. Our much vaunted central defence was statuesque on this occasion. James was a constant problem for them on the right flank, while Chilwell was anonymous on the other. Barkley had one of his best games in a Chelsea shirt.

Yeah i thought Chilwell "was n,t at the races" for most of that game, and Rudiger took a "power nap" for there goal and played all 3 of there boys onside. Barkley "good bad and ugly" in fairness mostly good on Saturday. Glad there is an International break although most of the guys wont get a break...yghhh.

Only just seen that Villa have sacked Smith (bad decision ) they will regret that...can see John Terry,s name being chucked in that hat?

John Terry crossed my mind as well Keith, considering that he has been very quiet since quitting his job. Have you noticed that Villa's defence has been like a sieve since he left? I haven't even seen him on TV as a guest pundit,

While we're talking outside of Chelsea, nobody will convince me that that was a foul on Salah which led to Liverpool's first goal. He should have been booked for simulation.

Yeah not a lot in that incident, but easy to give a Free Kick. Cresswell should have seen red for his challenge though imo. Still cant stop laughing at the Rudiger switch off...utter bewilderment when he turns round to see the ball going in the next and 2 Burnley players behind.????????

Think Terry and Frank should team up and take the Villa job. Eddie Howe wont last a year at Newcastle...nice bloke but not strong enough imho. Who ever gets the Norwich had better start playing Billy or Tommy will have him back here in January.

The reason I mentioned the Salah incident was because of the time, a few weeks back, when Werner nodded in from Havertz's cross, only for it to be ruled out because Azpilicueta was judged to have fouled a Southampton player about half an hour before. As the free kick led to a goal which could have been a game changer, surely the foul  on Salah should have been looked at by VAR?

That Mathius Normann looks a right tasty player and he's the bloke keeping Billy out of the team apparently. Personally, I'd play both of them in the side!

United next lads, and one without Ole, not good timing for you. Likely won't be an issue, but it's never a good time to play any team that is ready to prove something.

Apologies...just watched MOTD a very conclusive performance by your boys...and Arsenal reverting to type "Clueless under pressure".

Fabulous performance absolutely fabulous...Ziyech my Motm very classy. Reece James a beast of a defender with a shot on him like no other. Picked up couple of injuries which is not good but hey that,s life.

Who do you mean?

Must admit that felt like 2 points dropped given what a pasting Liverpool and City had given them....

Ziyech has impressed me a lot lately with his tireless pressing and generally being part of everything that is good about us,fair play to him as he is imo playing a completely different role to when he 1st joined and the role he played at Ajax. Also pleasing to see Reece move over to lwb slot albeit for a short spell....lads a monster.

A truly shocking 1st half, where we have not strung 3 passes together and look absolutely shiyte at the back. Alonso is way off the pace and Saul is also having a mare and what with both him and Alonso on yellow cards i,ll be amazed if Saul comes out for the second half,Rlc needs to up his game as well..his fault for there goal, over doing it in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Tommy has his work cut out at h/t to get this team firing on all cylinders....can be done but boy oh boy we have to improve.

Yeah, very fortunate to go in at half time level the way we played. Dennis <deleted> all over Alonso for pace and guile although, he did get to grips with him in the second half. It brings it home how much we miss Kante and Kovacic, with their work rate and acceleration. Saul has been dragged off at half time twice and is a shadow of the player I saw at Atletico. Thiago's introduction brought a calm assurance to our defence but, it was still a war of attrition right to the end.

as TT said, we stole back some of the points that were stolen from us against Burnley and United.  From a results/luck point of view I'm happy to be lucky for once but from a performance point of view - awful.  Hopefully a one-off as TT said, bery unusual.  Felt  a bit sorry for Watford and Ranieri - hope they stay up.

Havertz...Nijinsky The Minstrel Lammtarra or Rudolf Nureyev ????... i dont know. What i do know is he covers the ground effortlessly ..a lovely mover.

Injuries are starting to add up now, pity we cant churn out Left backs like we have right...Lamptey Liveramento Sterling James chalobah....might have to get Emerson back in the Jan window.

Pulisic looked okay at Rwb i thought. Spot on Og with Thiago....calmness personified, yep needed him last night.

Still 1 down 8 to go this month before we start again in January with 3 easy fixtures...Liverpool H   MCity A  Spurs H ....????????????

Dead right about Havertz Keith. He makes Lukaku look lazy......which he is! Getting back to the United game, never under any circumstances, allow Jorginho to be the Last Man Standing on a counter attack. I swear I could beat him over 50 yards in a pair of carpet slippers.
