The worst part was in Bahrain, sitting in the wing in the heat, pumping engine oil into the overload oil tanks while the BP Bahraini crew were on the ground hand pumping engine oil into the main tanks.

My dad used to fly in the Canberra lots. I had a look in a few times.

Used to watch the guys wash down the Vulcans after they dropped the atomic bombs, during testing.

Dad was an aeronautical engineer OIC Maintenance Squadron at RAAF Edinburgh SA.
