UK passport holder married to a Thai. I have a one-year non-O based on marriage, obtained from the Thai embassy in London. I split my time between UK and Thailand - so far never in Thailand for more than two months continuously.

I will next arrive Thailand in mid-January and stay 60 days. My visa expires mid-February 2019. I will return to UK mid-March - but only stay in the UK for one week before returning to Thailand for about 30 days. Obviously there will not be time to get a new visa in London.

How can I re-enter Thailand?  Do you think they will give a 30 day visa-waiver stamp despite seeing the expired marriage visa?

Additionally, I have managed to get a passport from another EU country (spurred on by Brexit!) - could I maybe use that passport to enter as a tourist?  Do immigration try to link names and dates of birth across passports from different countries?

When you arrive in mid January you’ll be granted a 90 day stay (until mid April)

When you exit in March you could buy a re-entry permit at the airport for 1,000 baht.

When you return from the UK use the re-entry permit and you’ll be stamped in for the remainder of 90 days (until mid April).

If you need to stay past the mid April date you can extend your stay by 60 days for 1,900 baht at your local immigration office.

Yes. This option shouldn’t be a problem.
