Strictly Thai Karaoke Bars?

Featured Replies

Years ago I enjoyed going to Karaoke Bars with my Ex. 99% Thai Customers, hardly any Farangs around but always much fun. The Karaoke Bars I used to know have dissapeared. Have they been banned to the outskirts of town? Where to go?

Not to worry, I have another Thai "guardian angel", looking after my well being in case the setting should turn a bit "rowdy" as the evening progresses.

There is one on Naklua Road near the Soi Photisan traffic lights. It is on the left coming from Dolphin. I have not been in, so can't comment further.

Is there any place with live Thai country music that tolerates Farangs?  Many years ago there was the Khun Pun Pub on Soi 2.  Simultaneous Thai live country music playing, footie on a projection TV, 75-25 clientele Thai to Farangs.  It was great fun. I think all the Farangs cleared out at 11 or so and the place maybe closed at 4am.

If you are looking for "Strictly Thai Karaoke bars" why look for them in the first place? If it's strictly Thai then as a foreigner they won't let you in!
