I know you are trying to be helpful Binnsy, but you do need a masters degree in advanced computer science to translate that.

I will change my pinned time table accordingly when I check the times out. And I'm afraid that putting the fare as 1,710 is very misleading, the actual fare is 2,360. I know you put minus taxes, fuel & airport fees, but not a lot of people look at that.

Anyway.......thanks for bringing it to our notice that the times have changed, as well as the days.

PB air is staying at Suvanabhumi and NOT moving to Don Muang (only Nok Air, !-2-go Orient Thai and some Thai Airways flights are going to DM)

Nice to meet up with you the other day and finally put names to faces. Thanks for the info you brought to me and posted on the forum re PB’s new timetable, which I am sadly disappointed at, as they seem to have dropped their Saturday schedule.

In January and February I flew the Sat flight and both were nearly full and I am therefore saddened to see this day cancelled ( as a personal opinion).

The advertised fare used to be 1650+ something, but with taxes came out at 2360 baht. The last couple of months they started to show on their website (www.pbair.com) the true fare of 2360 baht (tax inclusive), so it is not so much of a dramatic increase for the uninitiated of the old advertised air fare!!!!!!!!!!!!

One interesting addition is that PBair is one of 4 internal airlines designated to return to Don Muang in late March, early April, just for info purposes………..an unnecessary agro for regulars, but still a good internal airline in my book… ............RayBan

Sorry to see the Sat flights cancelled but I believe this is purely a commercial decision to utilise the aircraft on a more profitable route. (This could be seasonal and therefore may only temporary as per the Chaing Mai flower festival).

PBair is a small airline with a small fleet and needs to work them hard to break even. If it had anything to do with load factors then I feel they would have culled some more of the weekday flights as the ones I have been on have only been half full.

Where did you hear that they are switching back to Don Muang? as I was under the impression they were staying put!

My info comes directly from a friend who is an employee of PBAir and whom I met and enjoyed a meal with him again only yesterday in Bangkok. I am not willing to divulge any further details, as it could affect his standing with his Company, but he once again indicated to me that PBAir will relocate back to Don Muang.........no date fixed as of yet.

I believe also that this was indicated in Pattaya newspapers this current week, although I have not read this article personally yet.

Well..................course they're gonna cancel it if it's full. After all flights to Surin airport were stopped a week before the Elephant festival a couple of years back.

Thanks for putting the schedule up, our local travel agents hasn't heard about it yet. Another thing I suppose I'll have to let them know about.
