January 19, 20197 yr I intend to use TransferWise to transfer 800k baht from the UK to my Thai Bangkok Bank account for the purpose of extending my O-A Visa. Does anyone know if using TransferWise to a Bangkok Bank account satisfies Immigration that the funds have come from overseas ?. Or should I use another method ?......
January 19, 20197 yr If you already have a non immigrant visa entry you do not need to prove the funds came from abroad if using the 800k baht in the bank option to apply for an extension of stay based upon retirement.
January 19, 20197 yr Author I will have obtained the O-A from the RTE in London. So when the time comes to apply for an extension based on retirement as long as I can show that I have 800k in my Thai account for 2 or 3 months (can’t remember which it is), then I don’t need to show where it has come from. Am I correct in my understanding ?.
