Not wearing a shirt

Featured Replies

Given that people from all walks of life visit Pattaya from the gutter low class to working people to high class you have to expect people who are dont know that certain behaviour could be considered as bad manners.

Now im not making any judgments , but when do you personally consider someone not wearing a shirt bad manners , im talking about farangs here .

I was in McDonald’s up at Tuk com when a farang of mature age came in topless and wearing his underwear costume and shirtless .

What about if it was a young farang with a muscular body, would that change your perceptions?

  • Outside the beach or pool areas just wear a shirt. Is it that difficult?

  • Young or old, just wear a T shirt even if your in shape. I don't see the point. Though if it was a girl going topless young and pretty I make an exception.

  • If some don't wear a shirt in other places than at the beach or swimming pool, it is useless to try to tell them it is inappropriate.  They won't understand it.

Anywhere food and drink is available, including supermarkets, convenience stores, bars and restaurants its unhygienic.

I just get blank stares from the staff in Big C when I point out topless sweaty people and they do nothing to stop it. On occasion if someone is dripping over the bread or fruit I will say something directly to them but again they look at me as if I'm from Mars.

Also- budgie smugglers- no more than one block from a beach and not even there if one doesn't have the figure for them!

Fat people with small budgies should know better. They are advertising their large gut and small bird.

simply ignorant people go without a shirt.

Some have no notion of savoir vivre.
Others think that since they are in another city or another country than theirs, everything is allowed.
They do not know how to live in community, which creates neighborhood problems.

Wrong place to use language like that mate. Everyone is too old to know what you mean.

Shouldn't you be on Snapchat?

No shirt no service.

Signs in U.S. usually read: No Shirt, No Shoes ... No Service.

No Shoes

Why "no shoes"? What is the rational behind that?

I don't wear a shirt in my GF's house. Anywhere else, I wear a shirt because I don't want to frighten people.

What if they're wearing parrot smugglers instead of budgie?

yeah, the OP wants people to think they are one of the "high class" farangs.

In reality if you refer to other people as "gutter low class", you would not be asking questions about why those people are not wearing shirts. Kind of self explanatory.

Very douchebagish by the OP.

Wearing a shirt inside or sitting at an outdoor restaurant or bar is a MUST in my book.

And it seems quite often these same persons are adherents of the "shower once a month whether or not it's needed" philosophy.

The police were stopping farangs without shirts in Huahin for riding motorcycles. No on the spot fines. Just go and get a shirt and you can have the bike keys back.

I know what you mean. I had to beat a guy who used his hands in a salad bar.

No shirt & slurping out of a big bottle of beer walking up Sukhumvit ,,,, just the type we need

Send them all to Kuta, Bali with the Aussies they will feel at home
