I'm wondering if there is some medicine in powder or liquid form that can be given to cats and dogs to help them survive the pollution?

 

There are some social cats and dogs who live in the streets, and I was hoping there was something I can slip into their food to give them a better chance with survival.

Samplers to measure the current particulates are mounted quite high off the ground. Cats and dogs live at lower height so will not be subject to the same levels.

Are you thinking the air pollution is somehow better 6 inches or 1 foot off the ground vs. 5-6 feet off the ground? Where are you getting that amazing scientific insight from???

 

BTW, most air pollution monitors are mounted at normal human height because that's where people are breathing -- not on the tops of some tall buildings like cell towers.

Dogs perspire mainly by open their mouths and letting their tongue hang out. They
