In the US, I would go to "all you can eat" sushi buffet. I would have (pack in) as many as 40 fresh yummy pieces as well as several handrolls filled with spicy tuna and salmon. All prepared per my multiple orders. Although, I love sushi rice, I would cheat and inconspicuously discard 1/3 of the rice. 40 pieces and 2 large hand rolls have a lot of rice. Of course, it was a bit more expensive but not bad for 700 baht, tax and tip included .

If I could find a great sushi or even better a sashimi for 300 - 350 I would be thrilled. 5 months ago, I went to the Empress with a friend. He raved about the sushi but I found it lacking. The pieces was too small, not very fresh, rather dry with limited variety. They only had a limited number of pieces available (just as well) so unless you wanted to look like a hog, you could only grab 3 or 4 pieces. The rest of the buffet was pretty good.
