I'm traveling to India, how to get an IDL/IDP?

I have a 5 year Thai license. Is there some way to get an IDP from this?

Go to your Department of Land Transport with the usual documents, photocopies and 2 photos.

 

As you know, the documents required can vary between districts. In Bangkok I didn't need a medical, for example. There is no practical test or vision test, etc.

 

I forget what I paid for mine. I'm sure someone will be able to help with that.
