Game set and match?? ..re your 450 million..how many of them are citizens of subsidy junkie counties?? dependant on the likes of my home country the UK..FOR FINANCIAL HANDOUTS to " keep the big bad wolf away? ".
Exactly what do the eu subsidy junkie member countries hsve to offer? What do they bring to the party??

Sorry to burst your bubble but that doesn't change this simple fact:

UK population: 67 mill.
EU population: 450 mill.

Game, set and match: EU

It really doesn't matter as MPs have decided that we will remain within the eu.

We're now looking at how the electorate will react to this.

The EU always reminds me of the old Soviet Union, which in fact is what it’s based on with its top down rule by unelected commissioners, five year plans and what they politely termed a, ‘democratic deficiency.’ A takeover coup by the socialist political elite. Open borders, economic chaos and more than one bankrupt country propped up by IMF loans. It was never meant to work; you can’t collectivize countries by a small private group of people, which is what the EU is and expect them to all rise together and so they all fall together – the lowest common denominator principle. That now produces the backlash of some countries building fences and right wing extremism. A Europe built on the failed ideologies of multiculturalism, diversity and equality using Gramscian cultural Marxism (identity politics), was never going to succeed.

Without our 67 mill, the 450 mill collapse.

Game over.

Why not just have an open ended extension which when we can agree on just what terms we will be leaving on we can then set a mutual leaving date, of course we will have to progress with the EU elections, but there again I doubt we will ever leave for decades.

The eu have continually said that they would not allow an extension beyond the 12th April (unless uk MPs agree to their deal).

Why are they changing their mind?

Because they can.

In actual fact Not only did May get two options but the door was still open to any reasonable requests subject a realistic request proposal, what May has just requested is not realistic, she is treating the EU with the same contempt that she has for the British parliament.

Yes,that’s been the intention from day one. They wrongly thought they would wear the Brits down,as they successfully did with the Irish.

Unfortunately for them and their collaborators, the British have seen through their plan. In fact their plan has backfired on them,as there is now an increasing number of remainers, who realising what the E,u. is about, intend to vote against parties who support our remaining in this so called onion.

Still looking for a General Election...

Yes, look at the Newport West by-election result, your beloved Labour won, but:

Down 13,415 vote on the 2017 General Election, and the Tories also down 9,708 votes. do not think either Tories or Labour want a General Election any time soon, also a general election on a single issue, not good for the country.

Newport West by-election 2019
  Votes 2019 Votes 2017   Change%
Labour 9308 22723 -13415 -12.7
Conservative 7357 17065 -9708 -8
UKIP 2023 1100 923 6.1
Plaid Cymru 1185 1077 108 2.5
Liberal Democrat 1088 976 112 2.4
Greens 928 497 431 2.8
Others 1630 0 1630

Majority 1951 5658 -3707 -4.7
Turnout 23515 43438 -19923 -30.5
Registered electors 63623 64399 -776 -1.2

Anybody who wants to say EU=Soviet Union is unusually uneducated and just regurgitating Hard Brexiteer loony websites. Dim.

You could have mentioned that the votes for the Anti E,u. party, UKIP

early doubled on a turnout of nearly half of that in the preceding G.E of 2017.

Is this a marker for any forthcoming G.E?

UKIP will be no more, with the help of collaborators within the Tory party, UKIP Insurgents will have hijacked the tory party.

It does amuse me when people say things like this - like it's all about the number of people.  It's not a game of soldiers!

Fyi, the sum of the populations of Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nigeria comes to about 580m.
