Has anyone used the Thai E ticket checkin kiosk at Suvarnabhumi?

If so what advantages are there?

Is there a quick baggage deposit counter, or does one still have to queue as normal?

Tried to last nov, domestic flight, but could not in the final stage. At normal check-in lady told me this was due to me booking on a foreign cred-card. BTW: I am THAI/ROP gold member and now sit in their lounge in Suv.poom.

AFAIK its still only for domestic and thus may bring a tiny time saving if the ques are long. On domestic I never check luggage, so did not look after that. generally; the relevant forum onflyertalk.com is far better informed.

Remember that I used it more as once in the past (same machine, would not call it kiosk) at BKK/old/domestic and HaadYai and it worked fine then.
