I watch my team i know what they need and i know who's good and who's not, starting with Goodwin and Ricco...throw in a president who hasn't got a clue turf them out and bring in a decent experienced man...Ross Lyon would be good but...i dont think tactically he is in the same class as say Paul Roos...since Buckley WILL likely survie a few years my strong bet is Goodwin wont see out the season that dill Ricco will be inter then they WILL go looking...Bartlet isnt smart enough to have a coach sitting in the wings ready to take over so its another season lost for us....

Im tipping Goodwin to be the first coach out the door and by round 15....Leon....must have shares in GWS but i wouldnt expect him to see out the year either....Scott.....hehehe....if he dont get a flag this year.......some one will take him down to the Geelong river......only blood WILL be found...he wont be back the following year....and..Bucks should be ok but the blow torch WILL be on the following year....and Teague......Blues dont make the 8 or are struggling to make the 8 that long bow with a pointy arrow is aimed right at his heart....they might have a bunch of dills running Carlton but there never far removed from being ruthless....

Scott will be safe as Geelong made the GF last year. I agree, Cameron and Goodwin and Teague will need their teams to make finals or they will be under huge pressure. The trouble Buckley has is his contract runs out this year and his biggest supporter has now gone. Think this will be his 10th year so he's had a fair crack at it. The club might want a new face at the helm unless the Pies have a really good year. I think the Pies will finish between 6th and 10th. A finals win will be bare minimum I would've thought. I reckon he will be Max Gawn. Edited February 16, 2021 by Will27 2

AlexRRR
Well men if you think porking AFL club office girls is the new norm al la Hardwick....think again.....Washington Football team formerly the Redskins just hired the first Female and happens to be a nice looking Afro American assistant running back coach after doing her intern there this past season....so what do you think this opens up....a lot of wiggly worms are going to enjoy the up close personal attention and all..... Rampant sex in football is what it is...like before the players just dealt with the groupies and hangers on.....and twice in my young days did i pick up the same two girls hitch hiking to a rock concert and found out they were groupies whos claim to fame was getting screwed by anyone associate or in the band...they weren’t to hot so would have been left to the crew....yet the fact they got close was inportant to them....big eyed women around these big strapping lads will get the juices flowing....i dont know.....where WILL it all end? Like Patton....over indulged so sending dick pics to anyone seemed the normal thing to do.....There was talk good old Lethal Lee was pushed out the door at the Pies over ummmm to much close attention with the female office staff.... Im sure Fj would have been a magnet in his playing and coaching days....knocking them back a dozen a day....im really happy ordinary and unknown....i dont get into any scandles dont get blackmailed nothing....dont get any sex anymore too....thank god for porn on the internet....better than landing in jail for carnal knowledge or getting scammed by someone you screwed or worse still stalked...yes porked her once then it was fatal attraction for thenext 6 months....mind you she was also a social worker too......dont date social workers men......there been listening to sad story’s so long there life takes on all there clients lives rolled into one....i lived it.....frigging scary it was...in the end had to threaten that i would contact her employer to get her off my back men.....i can laugh about it now....but if you seen the movie fatal attraction it wasnt far off minus the knifes.... 1

AlexRRR
Sam "Weed" Weidmans grand dad died maybe yesterday or the day before....he was the great hero of Collingwood....Murray Weidman, who single handed stop the Demons run of 4 flags on the trott....in 58, single handed beat up the entire Demons, yes its true they went the bash well Murray led the way as acting captain and the biggest basher of all...its well documented men that the Pies were inferior though they had won a flag 4 ys before so you know they did the only think they knew how.....an old mentor of mine who grew up in the 20s 30s and 40s told me he hated the Pies with a vengeance he an old Lion.....said the Pies just bashed there ways to countless flags.... I started my working life in the slums of Collingwood....a 20 min train ride down from the north.....Pie land was smack bang right in the middle of the industrial heart land....Clifton Hill to the north, small and now a yuppie town was shoe heaven most of the big shoe manufacturers were based there and a couple of mates worked in the now dead shoe industry thank you Hawke and Keating.....Richmond to the south....another heavy industrial area and Abbotsford the manily residential area of Collingwood and i think Victoria park is situated in, i started life as a fitter and turner men well an apprentice and the factory took up an entire block except Collingwood High School was on the northern end it was hugh....i could go for a walk in the factory and get lost for an hour or two and not be missed....very primitive was Collingwood, no one stayed there after dark unless you were poor or a or wanted by the police.......most of the normal working classes squeezed into Abbotsford men....and thats about the size of a couple of blocks of Melbourne downtown....as teenagers we were scared of the gang from Collingwood....they were pretty dirty fighter so they were avoided at all costs, they had more gang members doing time or had done time than even my mob, well i wasnt in a gang but i knew a few who were in the Preston gang, one of these gang members ended up playing for the Pies then switched over to the Demons as a grass roots rover did about 7 ys at least at the G, i did ask him that very first year he began playing and was making headlines in the paper to take it easy on my mob that coming saturday...he just smiled... Well Murray @ 85 had a good innings married a beauty queen the paper said and was involved with wrestling after his playing days...a big showman was Murray..helped to make wrestling prime time viewing midday sunday...i do recall.....the wresting....but once i got to puberty i had a few more brains and switched off...' Its is hoped that the ghost of Murray WILL now take a hold of grandson.....and make him a fierce competitor......as he is quickly running out of time.... 50 Million single ticket powerball winner from Queensland was announced this morning, he or she has not come forward yet....i haven't heard from Bookman this morning...his normal good morning or some grumblings like that....10.45 and nothing still normally an early bird....id say hes going through all the trash cans in his area..... Reading one of the online papers this morning the NSW premier has asked that Scott "make it worth" for people to get the corvid vaccine which begins rolling out next monday up there.....now really.....i know were all different...and yes its been known that on the human production lines some faulty bits do get past quality control and gets stuck into humans....BRAINs is one of the main ones....apparently some wiring is faulty....look...its god dam simple....either a sheet of paper or an app on ur phone....stating you had your vacine etc etc....and you need to produce it to security when entering any supermarket....WILL quickly fix the problem.....or you WILL die of starvation....honestly preppers and doom merchants.....put them on a big boat sail it out to see and torpedo it..... https://www.hindustantimes.com/world-news/from-impotency-to-microchip-dangerous-conspiracy-theories-surrounding-covid-19/story-U4zBncQw1erTXmblPskXIM.html i like 5G causes corvid 19.....even better is Bill Gates and microchipping.....really???? would make a good comedy movie.......look they dont need tracking devices on us...there are cv cameras everywhere now....even on your new cars.....

A good mate of mine called John Hevron played Magoo's for for EF.

I never forget Murray and Peter Wilson picked me up at the airport in Perth when i flew down for half time match at Subi oval, think i was 12 then. Can't recall John but i was only at East Freo for a year. That got me thinking so watched the 85 GF between EF and Subi last night. The game was pretty slick back then with little congestion.

Well dear Fj i wish him the best also..and im happy for anyone to improve and make the world eat there words and yes hes most defiantly an imposing sight but he dont have any aggression and is at best a straight ahead sort of footballer....If were looking for him to plug a forward gap were are bigger dills than what i thought, his best position is down back looking straight up the ground...lets not forget 30 and over if your not already a G Ablett your up against it hey? Popular Post Will27
How hungry is Richmond? West Coast’s last hurrah? Fox Footy experts break down every AFL club’s burning question Does Richmond have the hunger to go again? Plus the style tweak the Giants and Dees must make, while a few teams’ flag windows are closing fast. St Kilda champions Nick Dal Santo and Leigh Montagna assess every AFL club’s burning question — as put to them by foxfooty.com.au — for 2021. ADELAIDE Burning question: How many wins can Crows fans expect this year? Nick Dal Santo says: “I don’t know the exact answer, but definitely more than last year. But if you’re a Crows supporter and or if anyone’s trying to measure them at the end of the year, it can’t be just on wins and losses. They’re not in that bracket to be fairly judged. A way to measure them could be something as simple as percentage or if they’re more competitive in games. With Brad Crouch leaving, it gives opportunities to other players – and I’m still bullish on blokes like Darcy Fogarty, while their defenders have more to give.” BRISBANE LIONS Burning question: Will Joe Daniher be the final piece in the premiership puzzle – or will he be the puzzle? Leigh Montagna says: “I think he’s the final piece in the puzzle. I’m pretty bullish on the Lions. Their list demographic, all their indicators and their game style – they’re cherry ripe to again be top four. You’ve got to be top four to give yourself a chance – and they ae definite top four. Daniher might be that next piece that can help them take the next step.” CARLTON Burning question: Does the Teague train journey have to venture into September to earn a pass mark? Nick Dal Santo says: “Yes – and they’re ready to go. For a lot of players, it’s their time to do something. We’ve been sitting back and waiting for a long time and they weren’t ready. But in the last two to three years, but in the last two or three years you can generally see it starting to come together. David Teague’s at the front of the train, so he’s going to have to drive this, but there’s a lot of players that should be getting mentioned as well that have been there for a long period of time, especially over the last five to 10 years. They’ve got a lot of pieces of the puzzle to play finals – I don’t think they’re ready to win the whole thing – but they’re definitely capable and ready to play finals. They have to.” COLLINGWOOD Burning question: Will the Pies’ calamitous off-season hinder their on-field performance? Nick Dal Santo says: “No matter what, they’re going backwards. Whether it be the trade period, the racism report, Eddie McGuire stepping down – is it a distraction? Quite possibly. But I think where they’re at as a list, anyway, was changing. I think they’re aware of that as well when you move on Jaidyn Stephenson and Adam Treloar. They’ve had a wretched run with injuries, but I still think that their best football, as a collective, was over the last three years.” ESSENDON Burning question: Will the chaotic coaching handover/trade period hinder Ben Rutten’s first year in charge? Leigh Montagna says: “My feel on that is we’ve gone past that. The whole talk about the handover and the messy season they had and their game style, for me that was all last year and in the past. Now, the expectations on Essendon as a club aren’t particularly high, from my point of view anyway. Now he gets a bit of a clean run at it.” FREMANTLE Burning question: Was the late-2020 hype around the Dockers a sign of things to come – or a false economy? Nick Dal Santo says: “I don’t think it was a false economy – they played decent football in those patches – but I don’t expect them to be leapfrogging, or making a substantial jump this year. I look at their list, they’ve got some good players – Andy Brayshaw’s improved, Adam Cerra’s improved, Darcy Tucker’s improved and when you’ve got someone like Nat Fyfe anything’s possible – but I don’t see them fluctuating much from what they were last year. When you’ve got a young team, you’re going to have natural fluctuations with performance within games from week to week over the course of a year. I don’t think they’re ready to start being the big jumper this year.” GEELONG Burning question: Flag or bust? Leigh Montagna says: “Yep. If they don’t get it, they’ve blown a golden era, a golden two or three-year period to win a flag and for Patrick Dangerfield to cap off an unbelievable career, for the veterans like Tom Hawkins and Joel Selwood to get one more.” GOLD COAST SUNS Burning question: Can Matt Rowell pick up from where he left off? Leigh Montagna says: “Yes. At his age and with rehab treatment these days, I don’t think that’ll hinder him. If you want any evidence, look at Chris Judd, who dislocated his shoulder before he got drafted and it didn’t affect his first three or four years as an AFL player, so there’s precedent. I don’t think it’ll affect him at all.” GWS GIANTS Burning question: Have they lost too many key troops to challenge for the eight again? Nick Dal Santo says: “No. We’re quick to jump to conclusions with the Giants. They’ve still got so much talent. They were dreadful last year, no doubt about it. I covered a couple of their early games and their ball use was highlighted a lot. For a team that has so many excellent kicks the footy … their conservative brand of football, in my opinion, did them no favours at all. it didn’t give them many opportunities to be what they could have been last year. But I still think they’ve got enough on their list to be around the mark and play finals.” HAWTHORN Burning question: Does Alastair Clarkson really have the patience to ride out a rebuild? Nick Dal Santo says: “It’s funny, we always speak about the coaches like they’re a particular personality type, like they can’t change or adapt. We used to speak about Ross Lyon – can he develop a group? I think we underestimate how durable and adjustable coaches are as well – you have to be in this game. They’re in it for the long haul as well. I don’t think coaches just jump from the best team to the best team and only be prepared to work with someone that’s around the mark, they’ve all done their time in a rebuild somewhere. I don’t think the Hawks will play finals this year because their best 22 to 25 doesn’t stack up against some of the other teams that probably played finals last year. But I think Clarko would have the patience to grow this group again – and I think you’d back him in to turn it around quicker than most.” MELBOURNE Burning question: Is this the year the Dees finally rid themselves of the ‘bees to the honey pot’ football style? Leigh Montagna says: “I hope so. I’d love to think they’ve matured as a group in regards to their style of football, understanding their system and being a bit more selfless as a group to give themselves a better chance. I’m backing them in and backing Simon Goodwin and the playing group, as they’ve played more time together, to mature and get their system right. If they can provide a bit more balance around the contest they tick a lot of other boxes. It hurts without Ben Brown and Sam Weideman for the first part of the season, but I’m still pretty bullish they should be playing finals.” NORTH MELBOURNE Burning question: After a massive list turnover, what’s David Noble’s first big on-field priority is? Leigh Montagna says: “I think the Kangaroos will surprise a lot of people this year. They’re actually better placed than they’re being given credit for. If you put their best side out there, they’ve got a nice mix of young talent and strong, experienced leaders. They’ve already got the foundation of a club with their effort, tackling pressure and contested ball – that’s a bit of a staple. If David Noble can implement a game style that evolves over the next couple of years, I think they’ll be a little bit more advanced than what people give them credit for.” PORT ADELAIDE Burning question: Have they missed their best flag chance? Leigh Montagna says: “No. They’re the other team, alongside Brisbane, that’s cherry ripe. This is their window of opportunity. This is their year. They were very close last year after being the best team of the home and away season. This is their last crack at it because looking at their list demographic, their best players are all over 30 – Travis Boak, Robbie Gray, Charlie Dixon, Tom Rockliff, Tom Jonas – so this is their best chance.” RICHMOND Burning question: Are the Tigers hungrier for a flag than any other team? Leigh Montagna says: “Of course they can win it, but I’m finding it hard to think that some other teams don’t have more hunger and drive than Richmond this year. Surely Port Adelaide, Geelong and Brisbane have got that desire. It’s really up to Richmond, because if they are as hungry as they were in the previous years, there’s no reason they can’t do it again. But gut feel says surely other teams have more desire. just because they haven’t had the success in previous years.” ST KILDA Burning question: Would not winning a final in 2021 be a genuine step backwards after surprising so many last year? Nick Dal Santo says: “To be honest, if the Saints do anything like they did last year, it’s a good performance. I don’t think for them to say they’ve had a good year they have to win two finals, for example. Winning that one final last year was worth 25 to 50 games of experience – it was that significant. I know it’s not great to lose finals, but you’ve got to live to know what they’re about as well. Champion Data have said they’ve got the hardest fixture this year, plus you bring in a handful of new players and the injuries. But I’d say as a whole, if they play finals – and even lose the first final – I don’t see that as a step backwards.” SYDNEY SWANS Burning question: Are they too young to challenge for the eight? Leigh Montagna says: “I think it is. I’m not as bullish as some others on Sydney. They’re still a few years away. Their young stars like James Rowbottom, Dylan Stephens, Nick Blakey, Tom McCartin and Ollie Florent, they’re all still a couple of years away from their best as a collective.” WEST COAST EAGLES Burning question: Is this their last hurrah at a flag with this list? Nick Dal Santo says: “Yes it is. The asterisk is if this group stays relatively the same, but you’d expect some list changes and retirements at the end of 2021. I look at their list and I think they’ve missed some big opportunities in the last two years, especially losing to Hawthorn in Round 23 two years ago to miss out on a home final. Similar situation last year where they were disastrous in the hub and just got rolled by teams they should never be beaten by, which ultimately cost them top four. But I still look at their list and what they could be this year – and they should be right around the mark. They should be in the same conversations as Richmond, Geelong – I’d have them in the top three.” WESTERN BULLDOGS Burning question: Considering the midfield squeeze, will there be a few restless Bulldogs on-ballers at the end of the season? Nick Dal Santo says: “There’s always unhappy midfielders, whether you’ve got a good group or not. There’s always multiple players on your list that are missing out on a game or playing on a flank or on the wing when they really think they should be inside midfielders. But let’s be glass half-full, because the Bulldogs’ depth runs as deep as anybody in the midfield. To be able to bring in Adam Treloar and keep Josh Dunkley, then you’ve got Marcus Bontempelli leading from the front plus Tom Liberatore, Jack Macrae, Lachie Hunter, Bailey Smith – if you’re an opposition player or coach, you’ve got some headaches. I’d love to think that instead of someone being disappointed that they’re not in the midfield, all of a sudden they’re thinking the collective looks good. I’ve been involved in teams where people are happy to be playing half-forward or in a pocket – because you’re winning every week. You’re not getting paid the same money that you could be somewhere else, but you’re winning every week and all of a sudden you don’t care. Ross Lyon used to say: ‘It’s amazing what can be achieved when no one cares who gets the credit’. So I’m bullish on the Bulldogs, I like what they’ve put together.”
Popular Post AlexRRR
Hahahahahah...... ‘bees to the honey pot them 2 ex Saint hacks are a bit behind the times...Demons were second to the ball pretty much all of last year... it was the 2 previous years...the year they made the finals every one though they played like magic and loved the fact so many were gang tackling.........then when they went down the tube...well.....no idea..... The reason we dont kick goals is there's a problem in the midfield men.....poor Ben Brown WILL soon realise he left heaven to go to hell.... Goodwin and co are under some illusion we have a great midfield....funny that....not a one....maybe Brashaw could hit the side of the Queen Mary from 20 meters out.....
AlexRRR
Well men its a sad day today....there is upheaval in the Melbourne Victory board room....dont you just love the politics of football???? A foundation member and stake holder stormed out and said bye bye over the direction of the once great club.....going down the gurgler faster than the Titanic wont be much left for the two major stake holders running the show....the major general Del Pedro or something like that pushed his way in about 6 ys ago and the clubs been wobbly ever since....sure Muscat rescued them a couple of times with flags but boy look at them now... When the new broom arrived the club had been you know traveling quite well and popping off a flag every now and then getting record numbers to games you know stuff like that......he quickly axed the coach who was responsible for alll the success then it began a merry ground of coaches...to be fair Ange got the nod for the national team mid season so took it with open arms before tossing it in and now enjoying himself in Japan....then Kev Muscat got thrown in but good old Kev could and did weather the storm....Having played for Celtic up there in barbarian land plus a number of championship clubs he could kick you while you were down and not feel a thing...he kept the ship afloat but there last flag year it was plain to see they weren't traveling to well....finishing 4th in the home and away they kinda struggled in patches slipped up a few notched to cruise to there 5th flag i think...in 12 ys.... Well once Kev left the sinking ship they hired the Adelaide United coach a German who won the FA cup with them and took them to i think runners up....but the guy was sand paper on everybody's nerves so the story goes so they let his contract run down...and of course Del Pedro signs him up........lasted maybe 10 games when he got the bullet following somewhere near the bottom so they hand it over to assistant coach some Spanish guy he also didnt do any better but managed to win one Asian Champions league game and a draw which managed for Victory to get out of the group stage....with corona virus the Spanish coach opted to go home so Grant Brebner there youth coach and side kick of Muscat in defence from the early days of Victory took over...he himself said....he wasnt experienced enough to take on the job full time and was just there for the interim....well he did an ok job blooding some youth to Finnish off the corna season then wow behold he now has enough experience and is gunning for the head coach job and Del pedro who can't tell the difference between a bull and a cow gives it to him.....and of course what 8 games in bottom of the ladder haven't won anything in the last 5 games Del pedro says good riddance to the former board member and says now the board WILL be unified..... It WILL be interesting to see where this is headed, they the board had a great opportunity to pick up a half decent coach and some decent overseas visa players too due to the culling of football departments around the world but no....give it to there youth coach...anyway tonights paper has been pointing fingers at the recruitment people...they haven't got it right for the last 4 ys, members are beginning to talk as well......but Victory being owned with the 3 major share holders the 2 salami's running the show and number 3 Mr Mirabalella who has his name embroiled on the coaches shirt dont look like selling up anytime soon....

AlexRRR
Well men in a bit of a bored mood i google Melbourne Demon news and look what i found...... https://www.zerohanger.com/afl/teams/melbourne-demons/ the first thing i notice is a West Coast Eagles trakkie dakkie top top of the page along with a pic of Jezza....the gods have spoken.....the Melbourne clubs are going belly up and i need to move to a warmer climate... 12 flags.....and 12 wooden spoons...7 0f them from 1969 to 2009....now you know why im always depressed.....2 of our brownlow medalist were imported...2 of 7.........Brain Wilson from North of course and the great Peter Moore from the Pies who told his son to go play for the Pies as he qualified for both clubs.... David Neitz our only coleman medal winner ever.....like i though he was poo actually, never understood why they took the state centre half back and made a lesser player out of him at full forward..... Out of contract end off this season.....only notable players i will say....Max Gawn and he WILL be a FA, Hibbered, Jayden Hunt....hope Goodwin goes before his contract is up or we could loose something special....they have crucified this guy....same with New Jetta, Alex Neal-Bullen...thank god...still not over the last kick of the season...Clayton Oliver, Salem, Vandenbery the brick poo house and the Weed...think trying to keep some of these guys to resign might have something to do with who's coach next year... Well there started contract talks with Oliver and Gawn as you would expect....so far there holding out.....and Jack Viney got significant interest from the Cats before inking a new deal for 5 ys...silly boy..... Kobe Farmer who is trailing along with Magic Door is the son of Jeff Farmer who played for us and Freo.....well he couldnt be to good as he wasnt picked up in the draft hey.... Well in an OMG moment that dick Gary Lyon....implored somewhere recently to pick up Paddy McCartin...can you believe? Swans were the lucky club RIP.....wish he would shut the <deleted> up.... In another OMG moment... https://www.foxsports.com.au/afl/afl-news-2021-melbourne-chairman-to-president-title-change-glen-bartlett-every-afl-club/news-story/674fc53b183647ce01206eafda1ce0f2 seems women are being discriminated at the G....President Glen Bartlett sounds better to them than Chairman Glen Bartlett.....were WILL it stop....for heavens sake....we should all walk around with a brown paper bag over our heads and wear blue clothes so we wont pee anyone off....nice pic of the two brothers Goodwin and Glen embracing here men.... they might be gay...then were in trouble..LBG rights and all.....im sure Glen is gay......they both look like the woman in the relationship....Id like to add my opinion here....Chairman as in Mao has had a bad wrap for along time....seen as a stand over type so im guessing Glen prefers al presidento as it made he sound more important when Chairperson would have been enough..... In real news Trump is still carrying on about making his tax record public....Scott had the jab, weather is around 12-21 next few days.....i had to go onto a new nasal spray with side affects .....not sure what was worse....i hate plumbers......they did such a dick job on my dunnie vanity, just replacing the spindles with half turn i ended up destroying the gizmo they screw into which has costing me a new vanity new tap patching the god dam wall where the tiles were a frigging repaint etc etc...not to mention the headaches and new glass splash back new mirror etc etc....

Now they say "stand" and any movement and they will get pinged. I feel for the umps TBH. I'd like there to be an option of a 25 meter penalty for minor infringements like going into the protected area but I guess it would be too hard to umpire.

It won't add speed to the game, only more infringements. It's not right to want teams kicking scores from mediocre penalties. As you say Will, determining when the player with the ball moves offline to play on will be hard to adjudicate as it's natural instinct to move on the mark. It's getting like cricket where the batsmen is favoured more than the bowlers. Edited February 24, 2021 by farmerjo
