Went out in SanSai too, this was a big one.

Massive storm through our village, Mooban Wangtan Mae Hia/Hang Dong ,temperature dropped 13 degrees in 15 mins.

 

Our village is renowned for its trees .A quick drive around i would estimate at least a dozen are lying over sois.

 

Going to be a huge clean up come Monday.Power out for 3 1/2 hrs. Hopefully cooler now

Have not seen squalls like that since around 2005/2006. Spent a few hours moving branches and trunks from  neighbors gardens and roads and what seemed like a sequoia or two from my own. Luckily no house damage but there must be a few roofs off etc in the area?

Hang Dong. and the roads parallel behind Makro aera power fallen onto moving traffic roads blocked just one resident trying to stop cars ploughing into wires poles and cars no road block no signs looked like carnage wont get fixed until today so I am told ????

Hang  Dong really took a hammering yesterday. Wind seemed to come from the west and was really strong. We had similar last year but it was more localized, this year a much wider area.
