i just want to know if anyone has used the public bus service (bus no 389) from the new airport to pattaya.

i arrive into bkk at 7 am on 26 march,travelling solo and light.

am in no particular rush to get to my hotel in pattaya;so if the bus service charges 300 baht as opposed to 1500 baht for a taxi,that's fine.

is this bus service reliable?how often does it run at that time of the morning?what's the price etc.

there is a direct bus to pattaya about six times a day from the airport, i think the first one is at 0900am and the cost is 150 baht

this YELLOW bus cost like 117 bt or so and leaves from the BUSstation, get there by white free shuttlebus

it delivers you at PTY NORTH busterminal, youll have to deal with those nasty bahtbuses. besides these 4/day there are near hourly buses to PTY as motorwayexpress coming fro the Mochit terminal

there is now since a few weeks a 150 bt BELL bus service from ARRIVALS =lower taxi level, beyond the airportexpres buses to BKK, which you must FONE on arrival, check the thread its been mentioned here or in the rather more appropiate Thailand travel branch quite afew times. this bus brings you to ANY place/htl/whatever in PTY included!
