Hi, please excuse if this has been asked before but I’ve had a search and not found anything. In short I’m a UK resident and my Thai girlfriend of a year would like to come to Italy for 2 weeks while I’m working there in June. I’ve been through the form and already have the insurance, flight itinerary and hotel booking in place but the only thing I’m stuck on is the fact that she recently left her job ( 2 months ago) and I’m supporting her until she’ll come to the Uk in the near future.  She has plenty of money in her Bangkok account so she can prove the minimum requirements for Italy but what does she put for job title and work.  We thought of putting that I currently support her but is this necessary for a tourist visa as I’m not resident in Italy so would they accept this? She lives with her two grown up daughters so I was considering putting homemaker or similar.  Sorry again for the long post but I want to get everything right. I considered using a company to apply for the visa but would only do this as a last resort as it seemed pretty straightforward until the problem of occupation came up.   Many thanks in advance for any help!

Doesn't really matter if she works or not as long as her bank statement is good.

And if she can produce copies of land chanotes she owns in addition to proof of owning any other property, getting visa isn't a problem. This worked for my wife's Schengen visa applications every year since 2013.
