Motorcyclist killed in Takhianti

SRIRACHA:--A Chiang Rai man died when he ran his motorbike into the back of a parked 10-wheeled truck in Takhiantia.

 

Prachakom Chaiyarach, 21, died at the scene of the accident on Highway 331 entering Sriracha April 26.

 

Kamthorn Pradubsri, the driver of the truck hauling oxygen tanks, had stopped on the side of the highway to eat lunch and heard the crash of Prachakom’s red Honda MSX into the back of his truck.

Yes indeed - very common here in Issan to see motorcyclists with no crash helmets, trying to drive along wearing ear plugs connected to a smartphone held in one hand whilst the other tries to control the handlebar!! No attention to road safety at all.

These dumbass truck drivers are a menace . They just park at the side of motorways . Could they not just pull off the main road somewhere for their lunch jeeeesuz . Caused me no end of grief when having to overtake these morons .

Thats how people dress here  ! You want him to put on a pair of jeans and t shirt just for the pic ?. Once again ,,,This is NOT Germany so dont expect it .

It seems to be how they dress now! You would never see a Thai out without a shirt many years ago. I wonder where they got the habit from.
