Can any one tell me if there is a system to obtain a visa to any other Asian country (Laos,Vietnam,Cambodia,Malaysia) where one can apply in advance for a retirement visa and not use it until necessary? I am thinking of this if push comes to shove in Thailand and would like to have some thing in place before being told I have 7 days or 1 month or what ever to get out of Thailand. I realise it's hypothetical at the moment but scout's motto-be prepared- is a good one.
