Toyota Fortuner 2009 / 1GR engine/Suspensions

Featured Replies

Hello everybody,

I was googling parts for my car so i found here with  very useful information.

I live in Qatar/Doha.But also traveling to Bangkok very often. I just bought Toyota Fortuner 2009 4.0 engine Auto transmisson with 5 gear. It has 1Gr engine and made for middle east.

It has 80k km exactly and i took it to toyota service in Doha for major 80k check. The result that they gave ; i need to change shock absorbers and mountings. But since

i am going to change them, instead of going for stocks part, i would like to buy middle budget but good quality ones.

I saw some models, including Old man Emu,ironman etc..

I will use the car mainly on the asphalt, and very rarely, maybe desert.I am looking for more comfort than stocks

If you could help me with the recommandations, and with links or places, where i can find them in Thailand, i will be so thankfull.

Thanks in advance.

If you want comfort then go for Tokico Power X shocks. They are inexpensive and comfortable. Other shocks like old man emu or ironman are way too stiff.

Thanks for advice. Do you know where can i find them online? Or any location that i can go and grab?

You could purchase them from our store if necessary. However, we are not located in Bangkok. If you are interested, PM me ????
