Started walking for exercise, but.....
Maybe the first thing to attempt is to determine the exact nature of the damage that is causing the pain. This would involve seeing a specialist. By which I mean someone other than a G.P. or the average hospital doctor. A chiropractor might be a good choice. Used Dr Philip Parry very successfully about a dozen years ago, for a severe debilitating pain in the neck: "Thai registered Chiropractor, consultant at Rajavej Hospital Chiang Mai and Piyavate Hospital (TRIA) Bangkok, treating patients with neck & back pain, sciatica, headaches, sports injuries, arthritis, allergies & many paediatric chiropractic complaints." Possibly there is one or other of these suggestions that might help: https://www.webmd.com/pain-management/features/alternative-treatments I have seen it said that pain exists where there is a shortage of oxygen, i.e. poor circulation, often caused by wounding. Might explain some circumstances. -

Any Alternative Music bars/venues in Bangkok?
Not sure what "Alternative music" is. In my experience, Thailand has a decent amount of live music. Venues open and close and some oldies just keep going. As mentioned above, Saxophone pub (unnofical page - their website appears broken), has good jazz and different bands each night of the week. Normally 2 or 3 bands per night starting at 8pm. No cover charge and food served. If you want Thai style as an "alternative", then any of the Tawan Daeng pubs are a good night out. Not just music but stage shows too. The one in Rama 3 is my favourite. Good food and beer too. Again, no cover charge but best to book in advance. Also, Saeng Jan (many venues all over Thailand), offer similar to Tawan Daeng. Don't be surprised if you, as a foreigner, are a minority of one in these places. I've had some good party nights and the Thais are friendly anf fun. -

CT125 Winter Tour
Today I continued finding and exploring reservoirs north of Chiang Mai. My first attempt failed as the track in is closed for construction with a barrier and a guard. Maye in three months it will be open. https://maps.app.goo.gl/oqPjJ1EDufNMaw4h7 I then rode to the following reservoirs, Huai Kang, here. https://maps.app.goo.gl/kScV3WmG8WmcZtFT9 Huai Kuk Reservoir, here. https://maps.app.goo.gl/rT7DBAypJceFJBAC6 Pong Sai Reservoir, here. https://maps.app.goo.gl/yonSHSvSV12i5FDV7 At Huai Mae Prachum Reservoir I rode up the stoney track to the top of the dam, but there was no water at all in the reservoir. https://maps.app.goo.gl/12qGgSruFzcN2jCo6 Last was Ping Reservoir, here. https://maps.app.goo.gl/erjrUYhWnL9YRmz67 https://www.relive.cc/view/vQvxQGxNjBO
